The Rebels participate in TSSAA Division 1 AAA District 4 Region 2, the areas most competitive district.
Since 2012, West baseball has had a rich tradition of excellence being ranked in the top 10 in 3 of the past 5 seasons and was ranked #1 in 2017 and 2018.
While success on the field is a focus, our program strives to develop its student athletes for success off the field as well.
Our program annually boasts a team GPA of 3.0 or higher and is very active in the community teaching service and sacrifice as one of the core principles.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme
West High School and West High School Baseball are committed to the Academic growth of our student athletes. West High School Baseball annually boasts a team GPA above 3.0 with several of our student athletes challenging themselves academically in the highly touted International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, a program only offered at West High School in Knox County.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a comprehensive, rigorous program of advanced studies that demands the best from motivated students. IB students study a broad spectrum of subjects and engage in research and experiential learning through school, community and international activities. In the forty years since its founding, the IB Diploma Programme has become a symbol of academic integrity and intellectual promise, recognized by leading universities in the United States and throughout the world.
